The month in brief

April was a builder’s month. We shipped three new blocks for richer storytelling, made page building faster and clearer, improved SEO/social previews with an in-house pre-renderer, and added an in-app support form with clear SLAs. Accessibility tagging is now more descriptive, helping editors apply the right context with confidence.

Deep dive: Previews and pre-rendering, rebuilt

Social and search previews were occasionally timing out with our previous third-party cache. We replaced it with an in-house pre-rendering service, eliminating WhatsApp rendering issues and giving us headroom for future features like dynamic image generation. The result: fresher previews, fewer timeouts, and more control.
